ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Charlotte began her career in early years over 20 years ago and has worked in various settings across the UK and Europe. After qualifying as an adventure sports coach and outdoor leader in 2012 she discovered Forest School and fell in love with its holistic approach and child-centred ethos.
Once becoming an accredited Forest School leader, charlotte founded Earthling Forest School in 2016- a fully outdoor Forest School setting, delivering sessions to all ages and client bases. With the help of her team, Charlotte worked directly with parents and their children, as well as educational settings, from early years and beyond, offering nature based learning and training.
Following the unfortunate closure of her woodland site due to issues with the land, Charlotte set out to share her knowledge and many years of experience, by offering help and advice to settings in need.
She now runs Earthlings as a Forest School agency and outdoor learning consultancy, and provided training and advice on all things outdoor education.
In 2024, Charlotte published a book " Mud Kitchen Magic" sharing a glimpse into her career as a Forest School educator and outdoor mum!
